SCANDAL announces Christmas live to promote cover album

Pop band SCANDAL will be releasing their cover mini album, “R-GIRL’s ROCK!“, this week on November 17th, and they have also announced their plans for a special Christmas Eve event at the Ebisu Garden Hall called “BEST ★Xmas 2.”

This will be a follow up concert to last year’s 2009 ” BEST★Xmas” concert. Their new cover album contains a SCANDAL rock arrangment version of Matsutoya Yumi’s holiday classic “Koibito ga Santa Clause,” leaving fans to wonder what other songs the band might debut at this Christmas live event.
SCANDAL’s official mobile site, “CLUB SCANDAL”, opened up the pre-sales for the Christmas live today on November 15th. Entries for the pre-sale will be accepted for a limited time until 6 PM on the 18th.
Yesterday, the band performed at the Singapore “ANIME FESTIVAL ASIA 2010” event. They did a one hour long set in front of over 3,000 happy fans. SCANDAL performed their overseas hits of the BLEACH opening, “Shoujo S“, and the Full Metal Alchemist ending theme, “Shunkan Sentimental,” with the local fans singing along in Japanese on the choruses.
